Each year, South Placer RWF awards two scholarships:



  • Americanism Scholarship:  A $1000 scholarship awarded to a scholarship to a graduating senior in the Roseville Joint Union High School District, charter schools, and in private high schools in the South Placer area.
  • Mary Lou Jordan:  In recognition of Mary Lou Jordan, a founding member of the Club.  This $1000 scholarship serves as a lasting tribute and is awarded to a female graduating high school senior or first year continuing college student. The applicant must be related to a current dues paying member of South Placer RWF. 


AMERICANISM SCHOLARSHIP:


  • Deadline:  April 3, 2026
  • Subject: Voting and Voter ID
  • Essay question and criteria may be found in the application.
  • Requirements:
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must be a graduating senior in the Roseville Joint Union High School District, charter schools, and in private high schools in the South Placer area.
  • Winner of this scholarship will be required to submit verification of enrollment in an accredited trade/technical school, community college, state university, or private college or university.
  • Applicant must have an average "C" grade or better.
  • Application must accompany essay.


Senior counselors will have the application for distribution.

MARY LOU JORDAN SCHOLARSHIP:


  • Deadline:  April 3, 20206
  • Subject:  American Patriotic Heroine
  • Essay question and criteria may be found in the application.
  • Requirements:
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Applicant must be related to a current dues paying member of South Placer RWF.
  • Must be a female graduating high school senior or a first year continuing college student.
  • Winner of this scholarship will be required to submit verification of enrollment in an accredited trade/technical school, community college, state university, or private college or university.
  • Applicant must have an average "C" grade or better.
  • Application must accompany essay.
