SPH is a unique organization providing no-cost physical, emotional, and spiritual health care to women and families before, during, and after pregnancy. The licensed medical professionals and the specially trained volunteer Patient Advocates provide pregnancy services, ultrasounds, STI testing and treatment, and nursing consultations. SPH also offers prenatal classes and parenting classes, as well as maternal and infant assistance. Every service at SPH is free of charge and has no income or insurance requirements or restrictions. Funding comes 100% through private gifts. We do not accept federal or state funding. We do not provide extended OB/GYN or prenatal care, birth control prescriptions or devices, fertility testing, contraceptives, abortion services, or referrals for abortion.

Reproductive Grief Care

We identify reproductive loss to include, but not limited to, miscarriage, stillbirth, infertility, hysterectomy, adoption placement or failed adoption plan, unwanted childlessness, and abortion.  Regardless of the type of reproductive loss, when life doesn't go as anticipated, these losses often occur with trauma and can lead to complicated grief.

At Sierra Pregnancy + Health, we recognize reproductive loss can have a significant effect on men, women, family members and loved ones.  We want to change the culture of disenfranchised grief and offer a safe place for those grieving to find hope and healing.  We offer faith-based and secular support through individual or group meetings and for those not in the greater Sacramento area, we provide remote support through confidential

video conferencing.
